Ordered it an hour ago and it still isn't here
arrived within minutes! best saag paneer in north London
The food was extremely oily, but the portions were fine and the delivery was quick.
I had a takeaway from here last night and have been throwing up all night - never again - it's only got one star as it won't let me give no star
Normally love chutney palate but not today. Half the pineapple usually get in a mojadar and didn't taste as good as usual, mint sauce separated, chutney was watery. Hope a one-off

Did not get the coke and double rice that I had paid for. They gave an excuse that they were busy. Did not get any money back.
I apologise to my usual curry house. I won't be using you anymore. It's not your fault. It's just that Chutney Palate is just too good.
Well, what can I say, this meal was worth the wait. On Thursday night, full of cold and coughing like a 101 year-old smoker, the idea of a hot curry to ease my suffering seemed like the perfect plan. But my computer had other ideas, as although my Hungryhouse order appeared to go through (it did, in fact, take me all the way to the bank verification page), I found myself at 45mins past the 'delivery time' thinking: Damnit. My food just isn't coming, is it? After contacting Hungryhouse, who confirmed that the order didn't go through and that they had no record of it whatsoever, I resigned myself to the depressing fact that leftover pasta and homemade tofu stir-fry would just have to suffice. Fast-forward 48hours. On Saturday night, my email account informed me that my Hungryhouse order was still waiting in the queue, and I was prompted to continue with what I had started 48hours earlier. So I put the order through again, and POW! - it went through all the way to a mobile notification this time! 45mins later I was presented at my front door with my fish curry, lemon rice, and mango chutney (and 1 pappadum) and boy, was it worth the wait. The Keralan fish curry had sizable chunks of fresh fish and a delicious sauce. The generous portion allowed for a 50/50 split between dinner and breakfast, (curry for breakfast is allowed on Sundays), so I was able to enjoy my feast twice. I will definitely be ordering from Chutney Palate again. The service was swift, the food delicious, and may even have helped improve my ratchety cough. Thanks guys!
